The Space Shuttle Children's
Trust Fund was established after the Challenger disaster. It helped with
college expenses for 11 of the 13 surviving children of the Challenger crew.
The fund will now be used to support medical expenses, including psychological
counseling, and college funds for the 12 children of Columbia's crew. Send
