Girls Save the Day
All stories in this book feature girls saving the day. My story, "On the Way to Broken Bow," is about a handicapped girl who focuses on what she can do when faced with landing a small plane. I use this story to role-play an emergency aircraft landing for Girl Scouts earning their aviation badges. It is based on the true story of a native American girl flown by Angel Flight.

The number of books that will fit in one envelope is limited by thickness and length, not weight since the envelopes can hold up to 4 pounds and the boxes up to 20. The envelopes (12.5" x 9.5") cost $25 to $45, depending on the country. Two of any of the children's books or the Fly Me to the Moon collection will fit in one envelope except Home on the Moon. (One Welcome to Mars and one Space Station Science will fit for example.) Only one copy of Space & Astronomy or A Passion for Space will fit in an envelope, but one of the smaller children's books may also go in the same envelope. (One Welcome to Mars and one Passion for Space will just barely fit!)
Note: Home on the Moon will not fit a flat fee envelope and must go in a padded envelope or large box. The cost varies by country. (A flat fee box that can hold up to 8 copies is $62.)
